IMMS provides the facility to maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory data of current inventory levels by subcontractor. This module supports the inventory module. All transactions related to the movement of material from and to a subcontractor for the labour job activities are done here. It provides the flexible methods of inquiry, reporting of subcontractor inventory. Subcontract orders are released to carry out work order operations at subcontractor's end.

Labour Job Challan

Through this document the material is sent to the supplier. Contains the details of purchase order, work order, process sheet operation number and quantity. Material received from a subcontractor bears this LJGP reference. IMMS maintains Labour Job Gate pass wise subcontractors inventory. Labour Job Gate pass has reference of item code of the item sent, quantity sent, operation number and the quantity expected.

Labour Job Receipt (Goods Received Note)

Through this document subcontractor sends the material. This bears the reference of Labour Job Gate pass. Items sent through multiple Labour Job Gate passes can be received under one Labour Job Receipt (GRN). Material received through Labour Job Receipt returns back to shop. The cost of out side processing gets added to the cost of the item under work order. Quality Control is allowed for incoming material from a subcontractor. Material can be sent for Rework and accepted again after the rework.

Labour Job Return

Material sent by subcontractor without doing any process gets received under this document. This document does not require purchase order reference.

Material Lying at Subcontractor's end

From the Labour Job Gate pass, Labour Job Receipt (GRN) and Labour Job Return IMMS maintains the inventory of Material lying at Subcontractor's end. IMMS also keeps track of ageing of inventory for statutory regulations.
